Domino's is known for its cheesy, hand-tossed pizzas, but it recently introduced three new sharable tater tot creations to select locations that will soon be available nationwide.
Chewboom reports the chain is testing $6.99 Cheddar Bacon, Melty 3 Cheese, and Philly Cheesesteak appetisers. Fast Food Post reported seeing these loaded tots at a few California locations earlier this month.
Domino's employees on social media expect a nationwide launch in February. Domino's will sell these shareables nationwide on Feb. 6, according to Reddit employees.
All three versions have cheesy, tasty toppings. The Cheddar Bacon Loaded Tots are crispy potatoes with bacon, cheddar cheese blend, and garlic parmesan. Melty 3 Cheese tots have provolone, cheddar, and Alfredo cheese.
Finally, Philly steak, onions, green peppers, a cheddar cheese blend, and the chain's creamy Alfredo sauce top the Philly Cheesesteak potatoes.
Domino's calls this new drink "Tot-ally delicious," but employees and fans on social media disagree. Many were excited and said they sounded great, but others worried about delivery.
The pizza chain's $6.99 Mix & Match deal remains despite last year's price increase. It includes two or more medium 2-topping pizzas, appetisers, salads, or desserts, so these tots with multiple toppings could be the latest addition.
