Customers Call McDonald's "New" Burger and Dessert are plain Lazy.

McDonald's announced yesterday that it would launch a new burger and dessert in a few weeks, calling it the "It" combo of the season, but fans are already complaining.

The Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese, set to launch , has bacon, lettuce, and tomato instead of ketchup, mustard, pickles, and onions and a mysterious smoky sauce. Fans noticed immediately.

"McDonald's? Now it's just a sauce. They added liquid smoke to an existing product and called it new "Redditor said.

The chain didn't reveal what makes the sauce "smoky," but fans think it's laziness. "I thought big mac sauce, probably with liquid smoke. Rather lazily "new," "wrote.

McDonald's isn't making a new Oreo Fudge McFlurry. Many claim the combo already exists. "FYI, any McFlurry can have hot fudge. It's worth upgrading." If you can find one—ice cream machines are notoriously broken—that is.

"At least now you don't have to pay 30 to 50 cents for it," one fan said, though the new McFlurry's price hasn't been announced.

When it hits stores in mid-November, the smoky sauce will determine if this Quarter Pounder is worth it. The "Farewell Tour" of the McRib sandwich, which fans expect to return next year, doesn't help.
